As a Publisher and Writing Guide, Candace shows speakers, coaches and other service based professionals how to take what they uniquely do and build it into a marketing strategy that builds instant credibility by writing and publishing their own book. Having a book gives the author an opportunity to have a greater visual presence both online and in person. She is currently the Publishing Consultant and Writing Guide with Our Little Books, a publishing company she co-founded in 2008 to help business owners improve their profile using a unique and stylish little book as a marketing tool for their business (http://www.ourlittlebooks.com).

She honed her writing skills during 30+ years as an attorney, writing thousands of court briefs in support of her clients. There she learned how important it was to tell her client's story, bringing a connection between client and judge. Now she teaches her authors how to tell their stories, so to bring a connection between reader and author. She's written two books, co-authored others, and ghost-written even more. In addition to numerous articles and blog posts, she is currently working on her next three books, including her first novel.

Candace has been shepherding authors through the sometime daunting task of writing their books since 2008. She runs and teaches a full day Writer's Workshop, four times a year. She speaks on writing and publishing, and during the school year, mentors high school students as a writing coach volunteer. 

When not writing for herself or helping others write, her passion is capturing and banding migrating raptors where she gets to hold and look into the eyes of the descendants from dinosaurs.
