I love striving for spiritual growth and progress through prayer and study and living a Science of spiritually scientific laws based on the Bible and explained in the writings of Mary Baker Eddy. It is central to my life. It has blessed me in so many ways!
While living in Boston, Massachusetts, during the warmer months I would take photographic walks through the Esplanade and Boston Public Garden. My approach photographically was quite casual. I loved photographing people, catching them at their best. I loved capturing those special moments when they were expressing qualities such as love, joy, friendliness, beauty, compassion, kindness, and nurturance.
I’ve found that as I grow in my appreciation of and live spiritual qualities such as joy, mutual love and appreciation, beauty, balance, happiness, affection, thoughtfulness, spontaneity, sincerity, trust, and playfulness I see them being expressed by others and am able to capture these precious moments with my camera. I feel my photography is very much an expression of who I am as a person. I’ve found that I must often be very quick, even spontaneous in responding with my camera. I love capturing the goodness in people, catching them at just the right moment. I feel to a great extent my photographic talent has grown out my love of life and the people in it.
I started working on what has evolved into my Our Glorious Promise spirituality-photographic book series project. It has been my ‘child’. I’ve been striving to nurture it, giving it everything it needs so it matures and blesses many people. I’ve found that working on this book series has been a wonderful adventure, in really living the ideas in it and letting it grow out of my life.
I eventually decided to move to California, to the San Francisco Bay area. For over two years I worked as a paraprofessional with the public school system and have been grateful for this opportunity to be working with young people and really helping them.
Then I started working on developing my Our Glorious Promise business.
Working on what has evolved into my Our Glorious Promise book series has been such a wonderful adventure! It has been so life transforming! I have so much to be grateful for! There is my new spiritually based growth, understanding and new ideas I have gained as a result of thinking and praying and working through challenges associated with this book series project.
I have been learning to be more open minded to challenges, change and new ideas, more loving with an unselfish unconditional love, more optimistic and persistent, more expansive in my thought, more courageous, wiser and more intelligent, more fresh and new in the way I approach life in general.
My mission in life has evolved into being of the greatest help for the most people through the marketing, or sharing of ideas, guided by wisdom and love.
