Speaker, fitness professional, best-selling author, and founder of Atlanta-based EVOLUTIONS Total Wellness, Brian J. Johnston is on a personal mission to help others “Discover & Develop a Higher Fitness Purpose”.

As a speaker, Brian shares peak performance training and nutrition “secrets” and a powerful, life-changing message with corporations, colleges, and kids through a series of “edu-taining” Common Sense-inars™.

In addition, he created the SMART START Fitness System: A Common Sense Approach to Personal Fitness Success™ to educate, encourage, and equip people with immediately applicable, fad-free fitness and nutrition strategies.

As a fitness professional, Brian became known as “The Trainer’s Trainer” through certifying, coaching, and training hundreds of other fitness professionals.  In 2004, he was named one of the “Top 55 Trainers in the World” by the American Association of Personal Trainers, and was a featured co-author in ‘The Power of Champions’.

In March 2008, Brian became a best-selling co-author in ‘Living in Abundance’, part of the best-selling ‘Wake Up…Live the Life You Love’ book series.  His story ‘Finding Your Fitness Purpose’ is featured among other top business and motivational leaders such as Dr. Wayne Dyer, Anthony Robbins, Rev. Michael Beckwith, Gregory Scott Reid, and many others.

On a personal note, Brian lives in Atlanta, Georgia with his wife and son.  Competitive by nature and a physical activity enthusiast, former athletic pursuits have included rugby, collegiate cheerleading, beach volleyball, and sprint-distance triathlons, as well as being an Olympic bobsled finalist.  He also played a Titan inside linebacker (#51) in the hit movie ‘Remember the Titans.’

Other passions include playing guitar, writing, drawing, and spending time with family.
