Blake Cahoon is a New Age and spiritual writer with her latest book, Connecting with Angels, available on Amazon.com. Ms. Cahoon has been providing spiritual guidance and intuitive insights to clients for over thirty years. As a young woman, she studied mediumship and psychic development with expert teachers at the Cassadaga Spiritualist Camp in Central Florida, where she grew up. In 1995, she moved to the Chicago area and studied spiritual subjects further with expert teachers such as Sonia Choquette, Christine Sonnen, Rick and Connie Vrenios of the Reiki Council and crystal skull expert DaEl Walker.
She formed her Amethyst Moon company in 1997 and the company launched a web store in 1998 (www.AmethystMoon.com), in the early days of web shopping. She began to teach personal growth and spiritual development classes soon after. Amethyst Moon continued to grow and became a brick and mortar store for two years in the early 2000’s.
In the mid 2000’s, Ms. Cahoon turned her attention to energy healing and working with crystals. She launched an energy and crystal healing practice, after becoming a Reiki Master and a certified crystal healer. Her healing practice utilizes these modalities plus aromatherapy and angelic healing. Blake Cahoon holds a doctoral degree in metaphysics from the Universal Life Church and is an ordained minister, who can perform weddings and other ceremonies. She continues to study and has expertise in the subject of angels, nature spirits, crystals and crystal skulls.
In 2011, Amethyst Moon continued to expand providing the tools for spiritual and personal growth with a variety of classes, products and services. Ms. Cahoon continues to write spiritual, motivational and personal development books and develop new classes and events for the personal growth, spiritual and metaphysical arts student.
In 2012, a new company was launched utilizing Blake's intituive and channeling abilities called Illuminated Engagements Centre for Whole-Being. This company provides inspired and channeled products, readings and resources.
