Bill Flocco is a Dynamic Teacher, School Owner, Author, Researcher, Conference Keynote Speaker, Organizational Specialist, and Tireless Advocate for the Field of Reflexology. 

Bill’s introduction to Reflexology might have started as a young boy.  His mother went through many surgeries.  She used to say, "Billy, would you rub my feet?" Mama Flocco’s feet would feel better, and, the rest of her would feel better as well.

After receiving a university degree, completing a year of graduate school, and earning a Life Time high school and college teaching credential from the State of California in the fields of public health, education, and social sciences, Bill spent time as a high school health teacher, leadership education and organizational development trainer, and Officer in the United States Army Reserves Medical Service Corp.  In 1981, Bill discovered Foot Reflexology, and within months, Hand Reflexology and Auriculotherapy - the medical approach to working with the reflex map of the body on the ears.

In 1982 Bill coined the word ‘Ear Reflexology” began pioneering the integration of Foot Hand Ear Reflexology, in so doing accelerating the popularization not only of Ear Reflexology, but also of Hand Reflexology at conferences and workshops around the world.

Bill established the first extended Professional Reflexology Course in America and the world, devoted to the Integration of Foot Hand Ear Reflexology.  His method, called The “Flocco Method – Integrating Foot Hand Ear Reflexology” has been taught on four Continents, and in many states across America, in so doing, introducing many states and countries to the special health advantages of integrating Foot Hand Ear Reflexology into the same reflexology session, and each Reflexology session. He and his instructional staff offer hundreds of hours of Core and Continuing Education Seminars across America.

With over 40 years in Adult Education, 30 years in the field of Reflexology, Bill still has a passion for teaching and says doing so is not only a career choice, but also a profound privilege.

Bill conducted the first Reflexology Research Study in the world to be published in a scientific medical journal, December 1993 Obstetrics & Gynocology.  One of his books, Reflexology Research, extensively explores and teaches about purposes, funding, support sources, and how to actually conduct Reflexology research studies. 

As past President of the International Council of Reflexologists, he created “World Reflexology Week” and the ICR “Research Analysis Document.”

As an Organizational Specialist, Bill continues to generously give of his time to help strengthen Reflexology Organizations at the state, national, and international levels.  

On a personal note, Bill loves to swim, has an extensive miniature succulent collection, and has collected approximately 350 buttons in his Presidential campaign button collection.
