CONFLICT ANALYSIS AND ASSESSMENTWe assist our clients in mapping, analyzing and assessing the challenges and the opportunities of the dynamics of a given system (a community, an organization, a company, a city, etc). We employ an innovative approach designed by an inter-disciplinary group of researchers and practitioners at Columbia University in New York. Our analysis helps our clients to broaden their sense about the forces that are driving and constraining a given conflict; to identify the opportunities for destabilizing long-term patters of conflict; to locate and to support existing networks of effective action; to help reduce the probabilities that a given conflict will intensify and persist; to increase the probabilities that they eventually settle into more constructive patterns.
STRATEGIC PLANNINGHow to turn meetings into a space where it is possible to imagine, create and innovate? How to design brainstorming sessions that are energizing and empowering all the participants? How do design a participatory process to turn challenges into opportunities? Accordo Consulting employs methods that allow to do an in-depth assessment, to identify goals, to highlight actionable taks, while at the same time enhancing ownership by all the stakeholders.
TRAINING AND COACHINGThe complex and interdependent world in which we live requires individuals who are able to provide efficient leadership to enhance the performance of both individuals and organizations. Our customized trainings assist individuals and teams in strengthening and expanding leadership skills, and emotional intelligence capacity. , developing active listening skills, negotiation and mediation skills, and understand the dynamics of relations and conflicts.
CONFLICT RESOLUTION AND STRATEGIC PEACE BUILDINGLong-standing and intractable conflicts are particularly difficult to solve and to transform. Intractable conflicts are immune to resolution. They are like a hurricane where elements and forces come together and form a higher order that becomes self-sustaining. To transform these conflicts, rather then on short term solutions, one needs to focus on processes that change negative patterns. We help our clients to have an accurate understanding of the complex dynamics of the system in which they operate, to design and to evaluate strategies that will contribute to the resolution and the transformation of (intractable) conflicts.
