Health and beauty of our skin is a very popular and important topic. There is an abundance of information and variety of advice on the topic of nurturing and creating a healthy, smooth, beautiful skin on your face and body. Market appears to be overcrowded with "miracle" creams, lotions, oils, and sprays and much confusion appears to be created about the whole subject. Often we wonder where do we even begin.

The first and most important thing to realize and understand is that healthy skin begins on the inside. Proper healthy way of eating, physical activity and emotional balance are of critical importance for every body's healthy and beautiful skin. Skin is our largest organ and it is the place where we often find effects of poor diet choices, overexertion, overload or poor management of daily stress, lack of self care, and much more. Instead of allowing ourselves to become enchanted by miraculous promises of marketing campaigns for numerous cosmetic products on today's market we must remind ourselves of those important truths. Caring for the health of our skin from the inside, as well as for the outside is necessary i order to nurture a beautiful and healthy skin on our face and body throughout lifetime.

Mother Nature has created an abundance of nutritious and healing items to help us create and nurture a healthy, youthful, and beautiful skin regardless of our age.

Natural "Facelift"
Make a paste using equal amounts of raw organic honey and egg whites from organic free range eggs. To the paste add 1 teaspoon of red wine and mix until combined. This mixture can be used as a mask for the face and neck. It is suggested to keep it on for approximately 15 to 20 minutes and then to wash off with lukewarm water and pat your skin dry with a soft cotton towel.

Vitamin C for Your Skin
Instead of expensive chemically preserved and "enhanced" skin creams and lotions there are many pure and natural ways to provide your skin with Vitamin C. Prepare a very strong rose hip tea. Use 1 to 3 tsp of rose hips and same amount of lemon peel to approx 2 to 4 cups of purified water, bring to boil and simmer for 10 to 15 minutes. The best way to reap the benefits of this preparation is to prepare both for drinking and for washing your face one or two times during the day.

Make Up Remover
To make your own nutritious and natural oil for make up removing combine equal amounts of organic unrefined oils of: avocado, almond, kukui, and sesame. Pour your oil blend into a dark glass bottle and use daily to remove make up and avoid using potentially harmful chemical combinations sold for this purpose. It is also important to carefully select your make up and avoid products made up of toxic chemical compounds.

Rose Water Tonic
Use a glorious rose water tonic to revitalize and refresh your face. Fatigue is often reflected on the face and often creates appearance of dull and thirsty skin. A quick and fast help can come from the rose water tonic spray made with rose petals. This spray acts quickly to stimulate circulation and helps bring back its shine. With its use tired face wakes up and does not appear dull and thirsty any more. It is wonderful to use it before applying your make up, and during the day it is great to use it as a mild mister. Make your rose water tonic with certified organic rose petals grown in your garden! You may also order a handmade Rose Water Tonic prepared with certified organic ingredients at Body&Mind LLC online store.
