Can it be that it really is all about.me? The battle wages on between LinkedIn, Google+, Facebook, Twitter, FourSquare, and legions of other social networking sites, blogs and URLs fighting for space in our cluttered minds and the limited real estate on our business cards.

Most of the entrepreneurs, executives and leaders we know spend more time than they’d like molding, grooming and trimming their online profiles in an effort to expand their sphere of influence, only to learn that the “friends” they’re trying to attract on Facebook are really spending their time growing circles on Google+.

With so many diverse friend groups and networks out there, and so little time, what do we do to stay organized and current? After all, friends, clients and contacts have varying tastes and preferences: some may find LinkedIn to be boring, Facebook too causal, Twitter too superficial, and MySpace too far gone…add the URLs from corporate and personal websites to the mix and it just gets overwhelming. Why not leave it up to our friends, clients and contacts to choose how to reach us?

If only there were a simple, visually stunning, personalized landing page with just one unique URL that used hot-links and social media buttons to organize our online life like a business card on steroids. Well, as it turns out, it really is all About.Me, where beautiful, free profiles simplify and de-clutter our online lives. (Check out http://about.me/larrybroughton)

Head over to http://about.me to claim your unique About.Me handle before your name is snagged by someone else. Once it’s secured, add the URL to your email signature block, share it on social networks, and use it to replace the jumble of other links and icons on your business cards too. We give About.Me two thumbs up.
