Low self esteem sometimes has an awkward way of showing itself in your life. Some things that seem so unrelated to how you see yourself is actually the exact result of it.

How you see yourself has more of an effort on your overall life than any other factor. Because if you see yourself as fat, unworthy, and incapable you're going to experience all sorts of negative consequences.

Let's take a look at one major self esteem problem that you may not even associate with low self esteem.
Being overweight or obese.

If your overweight or obese then your suffering from a deep underlying problem. And most likely that problems is the lack of or the non-existence of self-love and
self-acceptance.

At some point in your life you were told or made to feel that you were "not good enough" just the way you are. And you internalized that in a way that made you feel like you were and never would be good enough.

That's not the truth at all. People change every day. Some make forward progress and others take a few steps back.

But the final decision as to what direction you're going to move in comes down to you and only you. Are you going to take that criticism and prove it wrong? Are you going to listen to all the naysayers and believe everything they say to be fact?

Or are you going to allow what others think of you to go in one ear and out the other? Living your life based on someone else's opinions is a very sad and unfulfilling way to live.

If your overweight or obese then your holding onto some emotional wounds that have become a fact for you. You must find what it is that you are holding onto from your past and get rid of it so you can shed the pounds.

The extra weight is just a cover up and a protective barrier for you hide behind.

You get the final say. You are the one who either believes the fiction others tell you or the kind of person who takes what others say and then ask yourself if that's true for you or not.

You decide. This self esteem problem can be healed when you decide to let go of old beliefs and create new healthier ones.
