The 5th Step to Accomplishing Your Goals

GOALS - REASONS - EXPECTATIONS - ACTIONS - TRACKING

Your goals are too important to just “wing-it.” Because you, your goals, and your life mean so much, you’ve put a great amount of effort to get to this point. Transforming your goals into greatness is like making a fine meal. The only way to cook it is to apply the right amount of heat. Greatness rarely happens at room temperature!

There is only one component remaining to effectively Think GREAT - Tracking. Tracking your results will take you to a different level in the process of achieving greatness.

No matter what your goals are, I’m sure they have the potential to be life-changing. Whether you need to be a better parent, help someone to beat an addiction, excel at your career, or change the world, you will need a tracking system to make sure your plan is heading in the right direction.

In order to measure your progress, it’s crucial to track your results. This will eliminate wasting time, by making yourself fully responsible for your actions. By measuring the progress of your short-term goals you will gain the valuable information you need to ensure you’re on track with your long-term goals.

If you don’t apply enough heat, nothing happens and your ingredients remain uncooked. Apply too much heat and you can burn them up; still nothing happens. Applying the right amount of heat is essential. It will provide you with the much needed information in order to accomplish your goals.

Tracking results will guarantee better time management. In order to effectively utilize this component in your 90 Day Run, you have to be honest with yourself again. You are the only one responsible for scheduling your time. At the end of each day, you have to answer to yourself for what you did or didn’t accomplish.

Great Thinkers use tracking to course-correct along the way in order to reach their goals. Implementing personal accountability into your 90 Day Run is crucial, but it is, without a doubt, one of the most challenging areas for most people. Utilizing these common denominators will give you the edge you need in order to hit your goals.
