A lot of people have a lot of great ideas, and these are ideas they could use to start their own successful businesses. Unfortunately, most of the people who have these great ideas do not take advantage of them, and eventually, someone else comes up with the same idea. Then, the people who originally had the ideas want to kick themselves for not taking advantage of their ideas and starting their own businesses. Many people are just too afraid to take the chance, but, if a lot of people never took their chances, there would not be nearly as many successful businesses, both large and small, as there are in the world today.

Entrepreneur Success Stories

Every day people are starting their own small businesses, and a lot of these people are very successful in their endeavors. The largest corporations in the world were once small businesses run on a shoestring budget and a dream, showing just how successful entrepreneurs can become. Here are some examples of some successful entrepreneurs, who had ideas, and decided to run with them. Maybe you have heard of them.

- Julie Aigner-Clark: A woman who wanted quality material for her baby's educational development, Julie Aigner-Clark, a former teacher, found that there were none that really met all of her needs. So, she set out to create Baby Einstein, one of the most successful educational videos for children ever created.

- Simon Cowell: Here is a man who has proven that as long as you have the desire to succeed, you can. Even though Simon Cowell was a high school drop out, it did not hinder him in any way from becoming a giant in the music industry. Cowell has formed his own music company, Fanfare Records, and of course, is the creator of the popular television show American Idol.

- Sir Richard Branson: Another music industry giant, Richard Branson is entrepreneur who had a dream and the desire to succeed. Not one to bow to convention, Branson is the epitomy of the work entrepreneur, refusing to compromise his standards, and always willing to try something new, including involving himself in some pretty extreme sports. This high school drop out who came from a humble background is the CEO of the Virgin Group, which he built from the ground up.

- Elon Musk: You may not recognize the name, but you have probably used his service more than a few times. Elon Musk, originally from South Africa, is the man responsible for the creation of Paypal, which is the most popular way to send and receive money online. This entrepreneur has come a long way from his first venture, which he only expected and hoped would be successful enough to pay his rent.

All of these entrepreneurs had two things in common: they had an idea, and a desire to succeed. These are people who come from all walks of life, and have varied levels of education, but, their desire to succeed and their great ideas got them to where they are today. You can be this successful too. If you have an idea, take a chance on it. Don't let any opportunities in life pass you by. Who knows...you may even be the next Simon Cowell, Julie Aigner-Clark, Richard Branson or Elon Musk.
