Dear Coach Yvonne,
I met a very nice man 3 months ago and we're enjoying getting to know each other but here's the thing, we live 3,000 miles away and neither of us wants to move. We've seen each other a couple of times since meeting but that's about it. I'm wondering if I should pursue this or if I should let it go since I'm not moving and he's not moving. I haven't met a very nice man in a very long time that has the qualities that are important to me. What should I do? Should I go the distance?
Dear Should I Go the Distance?
If you met this quality man, you will meet another quality man. You just have to believe that and know it with everything in you. Unless you have time to waste, and I don't know who does, don't waste it. We never get our time back. Long distance relationships are real cute in the beginning with the trips here and there but they get real expensive after a while and the distance gets in the way after a while. In order for the relationship to work, one of you has to move. Since neither of you are willing, let it go, live your life, be very clear about what you want to attract (someone local or within driving distance) and know beyond the shadow of a doubt that he will show up at the right time.
I wish you well!
