You need wind turbines for generating residential wind power. Different types of turbines are available in market of different efficiency. The cost of these turbines depends on their efficiency. The one with high efficiency would cost much and vice versa. Normally, the turbines available in market would not provide you as much power as promised by them, so it is better to use a homemade wind power system. A homemade wind power system would not cost you much. The kits, which provide simple and detailed instructions for its installation, are easily available. The amount of electricity generated by the turbines depend on the size of blades, longer the blades wider the diameter is. Wind power generation is not possible in all areas but solar power for home will surely prove to be source of future generation energy. These can provide electricity at places where power is not available. This technology would help providing electricity to deprived far off places and hence would lead to development of those areas.
