INTRODUCTION
Nowadays, with the extinction of tigers in India, people have become more interested in watching these wild big cats in their natural habitat. Since India is the major terminus in the world of tigers where you will find chief population of tigers, it has fascinated wildlife lovers from all around the world. RANTHAMBORE TIGER SAFARI
Ranthambore tiger safari allows you to understand the beauty of the eco system which comes in a package of fun filled outback adventure sports, forest walks and sightseeing. Ranthambore National Park is located at a distance of 158km from Jaipur in the Sawai Madhopur district of Southeastern Rajasthan. It is the biggest National Park in Northern India and one of the prominent wildlife tourist spots of India. It is known to be the best tiger spotting location of India as the park is majorly inhabited by the royal predators.
Ranthambore has 10 different tiger safari zones. These safari zones are well preserved under strict rules and regulations by conservation experts of the park.
TYPES OF TIGER SAFARI AVAILABLE IN RANTHAMBORE:
The two types of safari are- Jeep and Canter Safari
JEEP SAFARI: A small group of at least 6 people can take on a jeep safari. It can also be arranged for asingle. A jeep safari is suggested for wildlife photographers so that they can capture the clear view of royal predators and other species of animals.
CANTER SAFARI: Other than jeeps you can also opt for, open vans called canters for safari. Canters are recommended for large group of tourists who want to go for a safari into the national park. It allows 20 people at a time.
Best time for Ranthambore Tiger Safari is from October to April.
DO’S & DON’T’S OF TIGER SAFARI:
In our eagerness to discover the natural surroundings we occasionallyoverlook that we have a responsibility to follow, to keep the environment clean. While doing a tiger safari we should recall that they are endangered areas under the Forest Department of India, so do not spoil in such activities that can go against the nature conservation programs of the forest department. One should always keep in mind that no animal got harmed. If you want to take photographs be cautious of not disturbing them, always remember you are in their region.
