We think the cup is simpler to fill afterward it was for our ancestors; attaining it perhaps less harsh but tedious just the same. There's a history of leaders using motivation to build successful societies. Gathering food to stay alive or clothing the families for warmth. We are as motivated as our ancestors.

Our motivational stories for achievement are instinctual. Even in the first stage of life; infants are driven by it to creep; toddlers pushed by it to walk. In the adolescent years we are driven by the motivation to achieve success academically; well, somewhere following the pursuit of locating something on four wheels to leave the nest. As a high school and college graduates, the push cumulates to the best motivation; success through our job.

The street we find ourselves on nevertheless isn't a straight path in any one direction. Men and women jaunt off in all directions. Duties coupled with the desire to be more successful in all we do. Are we successful husbands, wives, parents, co-workers, and buddies? Are we motivated enough to continue this achievement? To get there's the habit of getting and obtaining more motivation to ultimately be more effective.

This instinct pushes people exactly the same. Not in competition; motivation is about something more in the context of survival or living in the event that you will. Individuals with motivation could possibly be misunderstood. Levels of motivation may vary between two people. Perhaps, as instinct could have it, one individual knows his needs to feed himself alone while another is aware of his needs to feed a family.

It might not be unusual for people to feel in competition. Maybe it is more than we reevaluate our demands through the observation of others. A personal wakeup call so to speak.

To find what we're looking for, we could either motivate ourselves for personal achievement; or as our ancestors did in building societies, we could motivate for the achievement of all. Motivation and achievement go hand in hand; personally and in a community.

Nothing is unique to any one individual, gender, age or culture. It's instinctual, and in the instances where we might neglect to use our motivation; achievement isn't lost. Although we can apply our hearts and heads to locate our amazing sense of motivation and our success will follow.
