Everywhere you look these days someone is on a cell phone, whether it is in the grocery store, walking, at a restaurant and most especially while driving the car. We are such garrulous people, and we are so fond of our cell phones.

I remember when mobile phones first came out. I had a friend back then, and the two of us had one each. They were the old, clunky bag phones. Driving with a cell phone, yes, you'll still see a lot of those in the days to come but don't be sure that it will last by the time a law will say it's illegal to do so. You have a choice though, a much better choice that is safe. You can be in your car driving with two hands on the steering wheel, you'll just put on a hand's free device on your phone. And as of July 1, 2008, California Senate Bill 1613 states that you must use a hands free device if you are talking on your cell phone while driving. Your cell phone will no longer be allowed in your car as stated in the bill, except if a hand's free device is attached to it.
