When people are challenged with illness the best and worst comes out in them. They are tried and tested through the spiritual, emotional, and physical "fire."
Sometimes they come out pure GOLD.

GOD'S LOVE

Knowing God loves me,
I have no fear.
His love never faileth.
He wants only the good for me.
It is I who deems the impossible.
It is I who lives the improbable.
It is I who carries this dream to death.
God wants only love for me.
He loves me unconditionally.
His dream for me is joy and life.
My bad dream carries me to darkness.
My false imaginings bring my
Path to death and despair.
God is not to be feared.
God only loves us.
It is the dark side of my own being,
That brings me to sadness.
It is my mind which creates the
Stumbling blocks of life.

THE CHALICE

It's like grating steel against steel;
Someone's countenance when in great fear.
Fear of death and long hours of suffering.
Confusion and madness echoing through bones.
Mind confusion, cells in madness.
Trying and boasting of endless past.
Erratic, uncentered, delusionary visions.
Sadness that's buried deep in your soul.
To bring light, the cup must be emptied.
The passions and sadness must run out cold.
Surrender and forgiveness,
The building blocks
To refill the chalice with love.
