d) Bunny- The animal that had been associated with the celebration initially was the hare and not the rabbit. The rabbit was the symbol of the Saxon goddess and was introduced during the colonial days by the German people. Eggs and chicken are closely related with this one and during this time chocolates in these shapes are sold for treats.
