App permissions in the previous version of Android was a discomfort for users because the app asks for more information than it actually requires. However, in Android M, users will be able to control the app permissions for Android devices.
The previous version of Android requested permissions like Location, SMS, Camera, etc. Android M will only request permission for app during runtime of the app. It will ask permission to users just when a certain feature of the app are being used. such as GPS, Video Calling, etc. Thus eliminating permission that is not related to the feature of an app that users are utilizing.

Google Voice now has a voice-recognition feature that works as a personal assistant to provide information related to traffic, weather and other features based on a user’s interests. This will enhance the search experience for users, by providing real-time context.
Users can get information about anything just by pressing or holding the home key, Google will find the related information and deliver it to the user in a fraction of a second.
3. Payment Option Using Android Pay
To compete with popular payment options such as Apple Pay, Android has introduced a Payment solution known as “Android Pay”. Although, Android already has a payment option known as “Google Wallet”. But Google Wallets is considered as a failure. Devices with NFC compatibility will be compatible with “Android Pay” solution.
Android pay enables users to connect their phones to a terminal that is integrated with touch-payment, and will provide a digital receipt for a transaction with “Android Pay”. Payments will be made by touching a single app and it will process all of the transactions that are occurring on a user’s smartphone.
4. Fingerprint Support
Android M will contain biometric fingerprint support that will compete with the “Touch ID” feature of iOS smartphones. Devices for Android M will have fingerprint support utilizing a fingerprint scanner.
This feature will enable users to make highly secured payments with “Android Pay”. Unlocking a device, or signing into any account will be made available using the biometric fingerprint support.
5. Increased Battery Life
