AISECT established the Skill Mission Society in 1985 under the leadership of Mr. Santosh Chaubey, who is the chairman of the society. Being one of the largest skill development, service, and e-governance networks, the society aspires to bring about a change in the untapped potential that exists in the suburban and rural areas of the country.
This society falls under the NSDC (National Skill Development Corporation) and the aim here is to train the youth in rural areas on various skills and make them employable so that they can earn a stable income that is more than that of a daily wage worker. This not only helps the country utilize highly motivated youth for the betterment of the economy but also helps the youth become financially independent.

The idea behind this is to empower the youth. The government does not charge anyone for these training programs, and these courses are open to citizens of India between the ages of 15-35.

AISECT, partnered with NSDC provides several vocational training courses that are divided into 34 sectors. AISECT is a leading training partner with the NSDC ministry and is allotted to set up 23 Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Kendras (PMKK) to provide skill training in Bhopal.

Here are some of the industries that AISECT provides training for:

Construction: Courses in this sector would help you get various jobs in the construction field.
Banking, financial services, and insurance: This sector includes courses in the fields of insurance, banking, and other financial services and helps one secure a job in related fields. AISECT offers courses like Accounts Executive - Accounts Payable and Receivable and Goods & Services Tax (GST) Accounts Assistant.
IT-ITeS: The vocational training courses provided by AISECT under NSDC enable one to be prepared for many jobs in the IT sector. Some of the courses offered by AISECT are Domestic Data Entry Operator.
Electronics and Hardware: There is a large amount of work in this area and not enough people in the workforce to meet that need. Training in these courses would help bridge that gap. Apparel: The sector has a large number of employment options for both the private and the public sectors. People also have the option to become self-employed. The courses offered by AISECT in this sector are Sewing Machine Operator and Self Employed Tailor.
Retail: Courses in this field would help you get employment in the retail sector. The course offered by AISECT for this is Retail Sales Associate.
Plumbing: Plumbing jobs are always in demand as they are needed. There’s a requirement for plumbers in houses, parks, and almost everywhere. The course offered by AISECT is that of the Plumbing General.

Green Jobs: This sector includes jobs in the field of alternative sources of energy including solar and other green energy sources. The course provided for this is Solar PV Installer (Suryamitra)
Management: This sector provides jobs in all things related to management, whether it is about managing an office or its security. AISECT provides courses like Unarmed Security Guard in the management sector.
Telecom: Sales, maintenance, and repair jobs are available for people in the telecom sector. AISECT offers telecom courses like Handset Repair Engineer and Distributor Sales Rep.
Agriculture: The sector includes various jobs in the field of agriculture. One such course offered by AISECT is Tractor Operator.
