The infamous “yellow letter” has brought success in some way to everyone that has implemented it in his or her business. Putting it into your business is a time consuming process, but it is well worth the time and money.
There are a few important details to remember that are crucial to the success of using this letter. First, be sure you use the yellow letter exactly like it is on the website. Don't get creative and try to change the letter around at all. There is nothing that needs to be added, you just start mailing that thing. And you're going to get some calls. I guarantee your going to get calls. But remember you got to do it like we tell you to do it. Don't get creative and don't assume you can eliminate something because you don't see why it's important.
Use the letter and get it sent out like we instruct. It really doesn’t matter what envelope you put it in as long as it looks personal. It really doesn't matter if it's 8.5 x 11 or if it's cut down to half that size. It really doesn't matter if it's red ink or blue ink.
People have had great results on all of the above. Just do not change the structure of the letter and do not add anything on there unnecessarily. The more you make that envelope looks like it came from grandma, the greater your chances are of the recipient opening that letter.
Some people have tried to get fancy with it and get it copied. Some have actually gone through the trouble of getting it professional printed. Instead of spending money getting these letters printed, spend your printing fees on paying someone to do it for you. Because it has been messsed up several times by people trying to streamline it by doing that. It's been messed up this way more often than it works.
The reasons behind these rules are easy to understand. Most people do not find it difficult to notice when a letter is an obvious copy. Copying the letter usually will kill the whole personal meaning behind it. When people get this letter, they think your wrote to them because you love their house. They are also unaware if you sent another letter to another human-being. And if you do anything in this letter to take away that message, you kill the excitement about it to the person who gets it.
Follow the instructions for this letter. It will yield great results!
