Who wants to be a Millionaire?

We have all heard the old song right? 'Who wants to be a millionaire?' Don't you always internally say 'I do' when ever you hear that question posed? Most people do ... it's a worthy goal to have. It's one you should consider setting if you haven't already. Just imagine, in ten years time you could be a millionaire if you decide to ... even in five years if you are extra bright.

I love what Jim Rohn says ....

'You should set a goal to make a million dollars, not for the million dollars, but for what it will make of you to earn the million'

Setting a goal to become a millionaire is a worthy goal that will require you to expand your mind, develop your imagination, stimulate your creativity, expend more energy, enhance your vocabulary, manage your money, improve your relationships, clarify your planning, and push out the boundaries of your comfort zone.

In setting and reaching a goal to become a millionaire you are affecting the world beyond the million that will flow to you. You become like the bumblee who gathers polen to make honey. All day long he works towards his goal of gathering resources to make honey. What he is not aware of is the ripple effect of his work. As he goes about his daily work he is un-knowingly spreading polen from one plant to the next spreading good as he goes.

Becoming an enlightened millionaire is no different. As you work towards your goal of becoming a millionaire, the ripple effect is enourmous. You create value in society through new products and services that improve the life of others, you employee people, and money flows back into the economy. Your family benefit from your new propserity. You can travel to distant lands, experience new adventures, and meet people you may never have met otherwise.

All this becuase you dared to set a mighty goal. And think for a moment of the un-seen benefits to you. Sure you will have the money. But imagine how your life will be changed once you develop the skills to manifest your ideas into the physical world. Think about your enhanced ability to think through ideas, make plans for their achievements and take massive action.

You should set a goal to be a millionaire for what you will become in the process ... the money is simply a bonus!

So what is the process of becoming a millionaire? Well here are five steps as a starting point you may wish to consider.

1/ It starts with an idea. Use your imagination. Think! That is the secret contained within the best selling book 'Think and Grow Rich'. You need to use your imagination to think about new ideas for products and services that will benefit man-kind greatly. The more people you help the more you receive in return.

2/ You idea must add value to the lives of others. The more people your idea positively impacts upon the better. Think in terms of mass markets, who are they, how can you help them? What value can you add to the lives of others. Think your ideas through in the context of global markets.

3/ You must then give to get. Giving starts the process of receiving.You need to do the work first then the rewards will come. You don't say to your fire place ... give me some heat then I will through in the wood. You do the work first, you give first, then you receive. Become an active giver if you wish to be fine tuned to all the good you might receive.

4/ Once your idea starts to generate a cash flow you need to select the right investment vehicle. For some people it might be shares, others prefer Real Estate, or a combination there of. What ever you choose, decide to master your investment vehicles. Generate a cash flow from your ideas, divert it into the right investment vehicles, master the vehicle and watch your propserity grow.

5/ Develop a prosperity consciousness. Develop the mind set of a millionaire. Someone who attracts money to them. Become a money magnet because your brain is acutely aware of the opportunitys around you.

Now of course there is a lot more to becoming a millionaire. But it starts first with a goal and a commitment. Followed by a plan of action and you go from there. It is possible for you to become a millionaire in the next 10 years ... but only if you design it into your life. Chances are excellent it will not happen by accident.
