Although most likely written about a specific person, the Bee Gee’s hit song “Jive Talkin” describes perfectly the kind of talk spoken by the worldview perception of lack and separation. The first verse of the song goes like this:

“It's just your jive talkin'
you're telling me lies, yeah
Jive talkin'
you wear a disguise
Jive talkin'
so misunderstood, yeah
Jive talkin'
You really no good “

What an excellent description of what the worldview, which is a mist-missed-perception of separation and lack, is doing all day long; it is Jive Talking. It lies, it wears a disguise, we misunderstand it, and it really is no good.

It deals in the commodity of fear; of which is an endless supply as long as we continue to believe its lies, but that supply is cut off the moment we shift our perception to what is the Truth.

What does the worldview lie about? It lies about who we are. It lies about the world that we live in, and it lies about the conditions in which we live.

It manipulates us into listening because it knows us so well. Unless we are awake and aware it easily misleads us because we have been thoroughly trained on how to listen to it, and to agree with what it says.

It doesn’t matter if we hear that Jive Talking disguised as our own thoughts; or it is told to us by another, or is the mass Jive Talking done by the worldview through much of the current media. It lies.

It says we are not good enough, or that we aren’t loved, or worthy or cared for. It says we are not safe, or capable. Although not creative, it is subtle. We listen and agree with it because often there appears an element of truth in what it says; therefore we think it must all be true. It lies. None of what it says is true: ever.

Let’s stop agreeing with it and turn our attention to what is True, the opposite of what it says.

At this moment in history the worldview lie is that we are at the worst place economically than we have ever been. Everything is failing. What is true here is that the worldview perception is at its worst place ever, and everything about it is failing.

This is good news, not bad news, because where the worldview lives is not where we live.

The Jive Talking worldview wears a disguise. It speaks to us in our own voice in our head with our own inflections. It looks loving, it is not.

We misunderstand when we begin to think that it is our fault when something goes wrong, when what is really happening is a misdirected perception perpetuated by the worldview.

The worldview means us no good.

The Jive Talking worldview is a monster that we feed because it has fooled us into believing it has power of its own. But it lies. It has none. It is a false idea appearing real. Its only hope is that we believe what it is selling.

We live in a time when Jive Talking is very evident. This is to our advantage. Now we can clearly see the lie and say “no” to feeding it which we do by repeating what it says, being persuaded by it, or succumbing to its hypnotic producing fear.

“What we perceive to be reality magnifies.” Let’s not magnify the Jive Talking worldview.

Here’s what we can say “yes” to. We say “yes” to the idea that we are loved, worthy and cared for. We can say “yes” to the Truth that we are safe and capable.

As I write this we humans have arbitrarily set our clocks forward to daylight savings time. The cardinals did not. They began singing today as the sky lightened. Nature knows nothing about a time clock; it only knows and acts from the internal rhythm of the universe. All of nature flows with that rhythm as intended.

The two squirrels playing in my apple tree do not turn on the radio or TV to find out who they are or to find out how they are doing, or read the newspaper, or listen to those who have fallen prey to the Jive Talking worldview.

The arbitrary setting of what is wealth and safety will be dismissed as we listen to the internal rhythm of the universe that is known as the “still small voice;” as we listen to this non jive talking voice we can turn our focus to the correct perception of what is happening which is nothing but good, God in action.

When we perpetuate Jive Talking we put up walls and wear blinders that hide from us the evidence of the omnipresent Good which remains out of sight to the fear based state of mind.

Franklin D Roosevelt said, "All we have to fear is fear itself." We could add to this quote; “always produced by the Jive Talking worldview.”

Instead we must watch for, focus on, participate with, and share the Truth so clearly stated in Psalms 23. It speaks of this promise: “Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.”

There is no arbitrary time stated within this Psalm. What is speaks about is now, always has been, always will be; there has never been a moment of truth told by the Jive Talking worldview.

All that has ever been present is the eternal expansion of unlimited Good. Let’s stick with that point of view and see what happens. The only thing we could lose is that which has kept us in fear by its Jive Talking, and once that fear is gone the Truth of the infinite supply of all that we need stands revealed in the present moment.

In our The Reality Shift talk called “Dissolving Fear” we will be talking more about how to defeat the Jive Talking worldview. You can read more about how to listen to this talk here. http://perceptionu.com/the-reality-shift/
