What am I talking about? I wrote this article just over a year ago. I was planning a big life change after working on myself, getting healthy in body, mind and spirit so I could help other women do the same. A book by Julia Cameron, The Artist's Way, encouraged me to write. So I wrote and wrote and wrote. And basically I wrote about the life I wanted. Sounds like The Secret and law of attraction and in a way it was. It wasn't that intentional but when you love to daydream and make up wonderful stories about your life it becomes quite entertaining to keep it going.

I've included some excerpts as I wrote my way into my life referring specifically to this writing task to show you what it looked like for me:
• It feels like I’m giving myself permission to do this. To take the time to write. That has been tough. I do my morning pages faithfully but I have not come up with much substance.
• I keep writing, I keep talking, and I keep doing. Something is going to break, like a dam bursting. I have done a lot of prepping, my body, my mind, and my soul for that time to come.
• I’m writing to live – to share my thoughts with others. Maybe I’m more persuasive and influential in pen rather than in person?
• I’m writing my life. Can I make it all up and see it happen? It's helping to get things in perspective.

As you can see it was a little unclear for me. But I pushed through it and here is what I found out:
• Write – doing it is the key. The universe will clarify your steps if you’re getting warm or cold. Commit to writing 15 minutes a day.
• When you begin creating believe your intuition kicks in too. That knowing of self voice starts to get louder and clearer.
• Being physically fit gives you the energy to do all of these things. It's really powerful to feel how connected the body, mind and spirit are.
• I have always been a day dreamer but it’s always been fun to write about what I want rather than about what is. It makes it seem real, more concrete and physical to put it on the page. To write in the moment as if your dream life exists is powerful.
• I believe if you journal you’ll find some life balance and a voice. Issues lose some of the steam they carry.
• Not all my writing will be riveting but it will be necessary.

It remains to be seen if my life changes faster than it has. The writing makes my intentions clear and puts them out there for the Universe to take up as needed. It allows me to let go of the dream and trust in something bigger than myself.
