Bad posture has become a huge problem in today's society. I think if computers have one fault, it would be their contribution to the "T-Rex" posture. Lots of people work desk jobs that promote stiffening of muscles that contribute to the issue.

A lot of things can be done in the gym to correct slouched shoulders and a distended gut, but it means nothing if effort isn't kept up throughout the day. This means not hunching over the computer or at your desk. It means making an conscious effort to sit up straight while keeping the shoulder's back.

When at the gym, focus more of your training volume on pulling movements like rows and deadlifts. Also, by dynamically and statically stretching the pecs, hip flexors and performing some foam rolling for those structures will help alleviate the problem.

Combine these strategies and your posture will start improving. Surprisingly, it's the little things that count. I think someone said this to me when I was growing up. If you don't, you may end up looking like Quasimoto!
