Abundance comes in trust. It is the way we look at the world. Do we see plenty or lack?
It is the way we treat life...with joy or sorrow. Each has its special place. Abundance is of the mind. Do we expect the gifts of the Magi?
Do we expect the joys of life and all its richness? Do we see love where in one sense it may seem a curse? Do we know that God Goddess works in all ways for the good? The Great Spirit showers us with gifts, and sometimes allows a lack to teach us an important lesson.
What do we choose with our lives? Is it with the splendor of the unseen worlds, or in darkness do we creep? The ups and downs, the roller coaster of life can make us feel out of control. Do we really have any control?
We are told to "go with the flow." When we think good thoughts, good things happen. When we allow ourselves to run amuck with fears, things go south. "Whatever you resist persists." We start to envision the worst, and actually give energy to those negative thoughts.
When we have the courage to have faith, we once again are flowing with the river. We go along and believe that Spirit will actually provide for us. This doesn't mean a stagnant condition. Action is needed to fulfill our dreams.
Abundance comes in many forms, the beautiful forms of the Earth. Appreciation brings us to our desired outcomes. A prayer of thanks and a vision of how we want it to be bring us to our fulfillment.
The gifts of the Magi are eternal gifts that hone the soul to its perfection. Can we receive these gifts on Earth? What makes us feel abundant without material manifestations?
According to Corinne Heline in the "Mystery of the Christos" "The three wise men typify Body, Soul, and Spirit. Their gifts: Myrrh stands for the bitterness of pain and sorrow before the lower nature of man has been transformed. Frankincense is the way of transmutation. Gold is the Spirit which refines the lower nature and brings it to subjection."
From the book "The City of God" Mother Mary speaking:
"Thy ceaseless offer must be love which is the gold, continual prayer, which is the frankincense, and the patient acceptance of labors and true mortification which is the myrrh."
Abundance is of the heart. It is the giving of love from our soul to one another.
"Row, row, row your boat gently down the stream. Merrily, merrily, merrily, merrily, life is but a dream."
