So now that you know how to get started, here are some homemade skincare recipes ‘perfect-for-spring’ to help you kick off with this season:

Egg Face Mask - Eggs are the symbol of spring and new beginnings. They are also a great remedy to use for dry skin. Eggs are packed with protein and lechthin, which is a natural lubricant for the skin.

What You Need:
1 raw egg
1 tablespoon of honey
1 tablespoon of sour cream

How to Make:
Mix all ingredients together and then place all over your face and neck areas. Let the mask sit for 15-20 minutes, and afterwards wash off with lukewarm water.

Rose Petals Toner – Roses are spring’s most romantic blossom (so fitting, right?) and is also a natural astringent, as it works wonders to removing oil and dirt from skin.

What You Need:
1 tablespoon of dried rose petals
1 cup of white wine vinegar
½ cup of rosewater

How to Make:
Combine and mix the rose petals and vinegar together and let the mixture sit for two weeks. After two weeks, strain and stir in the rosewater. Using this mixture, pour into a spray bottle and mist your face or spray on a clean cotton ball and pat it over your skin after cleansing.

Refreshing Travel Towels – this is the perfect treatment while traveling, especially for you spring-breakers!

What You Need:
-1/2 cup of vodka
-1 teaspoon of glycerin
-1/2 cup of water
-10 drops of lemon oil
-Thick, strong paper towels

How to Make:
Using a small bowl, combine all the ingredients and mix well. While placing folded paper towels side by side in a separate dish, pour the mixture over the towels and press to saturate. Once finished, stack the towels in a clean, airtight container and cover. When you leave for your trip, you can place them in a resealable plastic zipper bag.
