1 Minute Workout

There are 24 hours in a day. Everybody has 1 minute to do something between their busy schedule. You don't have time to go to the gym, you're to tired to exercise at night when everybody is sleeping and you said you'll do it first thing in the morning at 5:30am...but you sleep in instead! Why not? It's your day off! You deserve to sleep in! Time is still going and you keep putting it off. It's the same old routine you do everyday and you're not getting younger. The question is are you willing to make a sacrifice? Are you willing to skip an hour of T.V. time a day? Maybe that is too much, but you'll get there! How about 1 minute of your time.

I advise those that are trying to get into shape but don't have the time to take 1 minute to do a jumping jack, a pushup, situp or something that they can do, get it done and go back to their regular schedule. Majority of the time you will not need any weights, just your body. Here is something I'm going to throw at you!

At work:
This could be in a cubicle or anywhere in a work place, but really quick knock off 10 pushups if you can! If you can't then do as much as you can. As soon as you get done with that immediately go into jumping jacks. That should be a minute workout you just did. If you don't want to get on the ground and push, lean yourself against a wall and push your self back. Do high reps with these and there will be evidence on your arms and chest in the coming days.

Another exercise: Stand in front of your chair and put one foot on the seat. After that put the other foot on top of your chair so that you are now standing on your chair. Take one foot off your chair back on the floor and the other. Do this at least 10 times and you will have your 1 minute workout.

At Home:
A co-worker of mine who use to be a firefighter explained how firefighters are constantly exercising. They tend to make games out of exercising just to make it fun and challenging. One exercise he told me was the commercial exercise, where you would knock out numbers of pushups during a commercial break. It doesn't have to be pushups it can be a quick walk around the block.
Or if you have stairs in your house, go up and down those steps. Doing that exercise will strengthen your lower body and will help boost your motivation. If you're looking to lose weight, that will be a perfect exercise for you. You'll be surprised how fast those unwanted fats will drop off of you.
The more you do the 1 minute exercise the more you want to be challenged, then you would end up doing 45 minutes. We all love a good challenge, so why not challenge yourself to see how far you'll go, what obstacles can you overcome.
