Susanne Warren helps women and men over 40 who are motivated to finally deal with longstanding health issues including weight loss, stress management, and conditions caused by inflammation, to make healthier diet and lifestyle choices.
In her program, You Can Transform Your Health - A Program of Diet and Lifestyle Changes to Bring You to Optimum Health, Susanne supports and motivates her clients to reach their individual health goals. She offers teleclasses and workshops on healthy eating and lifestyle choices.
Always interested in yoga, healthy living and personal development, Susanne became truly passionate about nutrition and integrative care when she experienced two separate health crises in adulthood. With the first, she learned the importance of nutritious food on total health. The second health crisis taught her the importance of care of the entire person, not only through diet, but also through stress management and life choices. She believes that food has a profound effect on health, that being ill is not a natural part of aging, and she is passionate about helping people reclaim their health.
Susanne graudated from The University of Texas at El Paso and is currently a student at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. When she graduates in June 2011, she will receive her certification as a holistic health coach from the American Association of Drugless Practitioners.
Susanne's clients have experienced natural weight loss, reduction of stress and chronic health conditions, more energy, and increased self-confidence. She writes a monthly blog and a free monthly newsletter, which can be subscribed to on her site.
What I believe about nutrition and health:
We are what we eat.
We should eat to live, not live to eat.
We can heal many of the health issues affecting Americans through wholesome nutrition and lifestyle choices.
We have a responsibility—to our selves, to our families and friends, to society—to care for our health.
Our bodies (and all the amazing things they are able to do) are a gift from God, and we should take care of them.
There is no one dietary theory that will work for everyone. However, there are general guidelines that will keep us healthy, and those include eating a wide variety of seasonal, locally grown foods and adhering to a mostly plant-based diet.
