I chose the path of education after leaving 'Corporate America' back in 2000. And like most teachers around the five year mark, I became burnt out. So I decided I wanted to become a school librarian so I could have the best of both worlds, education and administration.

I have always loved being behind the scenes by helping those that I support look good, and allowing them the freedom that they need to do their job to deliver their services to their clients. I loved doing that on my job, which is why I chose to work as a School Library Media Specialist for the past six years, because I loved making teachers look good by providing them with the resources they needed to teach enriching lessons to their students. Now turned that into my business.

So what happened was I got tired of doing this and being unappreciated. The reason I run my business now is because I needed to have an appreciative boss, and now it’s me! I feel validated, valued, and respected. Now in my business I can be that amazing support that you need to be successful in your business. I am thriving, happy and ready to move forward. My personal philosophy has been working to live not living to work.

When I was searching for my business brand I likened it to cooking a nice pot grits. I could not cook them no matter what I tried. However, about a decade ago I just stopped trying. Not because I'm a quitter, but I realized I wasn’t good at preparing them—much less passionate about cooking them. So I stopped the madness. I focused more on what I was great at doing. My Advice to coaches is stop looking for something your you’re not passionate about! Create a brand that sets you apart. This is your recipe for success!

I believe what makes me authentic and unique as a coaches’ virtual assistant/consultant is the energy I possess that radiates and transfers to other people that makes them feel at ease. I am a good listener, and analytical in a positive way. My divergent way of thinking allows goals to be achieved the right way. The creativity I possess allows me to come up with colorful ideas that are unique in a way that is agreeable to people.

I set high expectations in everything I do while possessing the ability to compromise to meet the needs of others. The flexibililty of time helps me to remain more approachable to my clients. I am in this business so that I can build an independent practice that is rewarding and allows me the freedom to pursue in the type of work that enjoyable. You will find that working with me you will have the luxury of a virtual assistant that will allow you to reap the benefits that comes with outsourcing.
