Dave's Success Journey had a humble beginning. Having grown up in the low income Public Housing project, he persisted to become a first generation College graduate.
Upon earning his business degree, his career path began in Television Advertising, where he became a top producer at a Major Network Affiliate.
After more than a dozen years in Corporate America, he opened his own advertising and marketing companies. It was his Entrepreneurial Spirit, combined with a resolve to never go back to living in the Project that drove him to build successful entrepreneurial ventures and obtain Financial Independence.
Dave spent two decades teaching Leadership Training across America and in over twenty-five countries around the world.
He is currently most active on College Campuses, serving on numerous Boards, as an Advisor and Guest Lecturer. He also proudly serves on the Board of Directors of Juniour Achievement in Massachusetts.
“It was my work on campus that made me realize that today's students fear what's next. They have all this education to prepare them, yet they are uncertain of their ability to go out and make their way in the world. If we can build a bridge of belief ... a glimpse of ‘what the world is looking for’ from them, then perhaps, they will believe in themselves enough to go out with a healthy self-esteem and make the world a better place.”
“So much time and money is invested in education, it stands to reason that we NEED to help them put their best foot forward and then continue putting one in front of the other until they are living their dreams. This is still the Land of Opportunity.”
Through the Bedard Charitable Fund, they are able to support students and Educators with Scholarships and Faculty Development Funding.
“I have a passion to help people be their best by becoming dedicated self-developers. Being an entrepreneur has allowed us to see the world. If a kid from the project can do it, anyone can.”
