The history books are open and ready to be written for the winner of the Champions League final on May 22. Both Inter Milan and Bayern Munich will seek to make history at the Santiago Bernabéu as both seek to make the treble for the first time. Neither team has had much joy in Europe in recent years, but both will be looking to end that after winning their respected national leagues and cups.

Bayern Munich will reach the final as a slight underdog, as it was Inter who eliminated Barcelona in the last round. Bayern Munich didn't exactly have an easy passage to the final, knocking out Manchester United and Lyon along the way.

The battle between the two sides should be close, with both teams with game-winning players and world-class tacticians on their managers.

There are a number of key battles on and off the field that will decide the outcome of the game. The battle between Mourinho and van Gaal will surely be the decisive battle, whoever wins in the tactical battle will give their team the best match chance. Once the team talks are over, the managers can do very little, both of them. They must have faith in their players to carry out what they have asked. One of the coaches can win the battle for his team, but the players on the field must win the war. These are some of the key battles within the war:

1) Diego Milito v Daniel Van Buyten - Diego Milito has scored against Chelsea and Barcelona to lead Inter to the final and hopes to remain in good form before the world cup. Milito has great shooting skills and a good change of pace, he is a handful for any center-back, and it will be Daniel Van Buyten's job to prevent the Argentine forward from getting on the score sheet. Van Buyten is a solid old-fashioned center half who won't have a problem taking man and ball if necessary.

2) Wesley Sneijder v Mark Van Bommel - This could be the battle that decides the tie, the two Dutch head to head, defender Van Bommel will have to stop the playmaker of Inters. The Inter star hopes to show the Bernabéu the mistake they made when they sold him to Inter last summer. Can the old man stop the young opponent and win the draw for his team, or will the young man overcome the experience?

3) Lucio v Ivica Olic - The Brzilian defender has managed to contain both Drogba and Ibrahimovic in the last 2 rounds of the Champions League, but is now facing a poacher. The previous 2 tasks were players who like to play in front of him, but Olic will be looking to run behind and be there to seize any opportunity. Lucio will have to be in top shape and always attentive if he wants to stop the little Croatian. https://xn--l3clbuukk5c4d8a3e5d.com/%e0%b8%9b%e0%b8%a3%e0%b8%b0%e0%b8%a7...
