Stefani and Rossdale were married for 13 years before their marriage came to an end due to his acts of infidelity. Though they are legally divorced, the marriage is permanent in the eyes of the Catholic church. This means that Stefani can’t marry Shelton in the Catholic Church because they do not allow remarriage if the other spouse is still alive.
It looks like both of them are planning to move in together as well, as further reports indicate that Gwen currently has her house in Escrow, which she purchased with her former husband, Gavin Rossdale, about a decade ago. The value of that property has many negative memories associated with her.
