A medical college that offers medical education resources in various forms has better chances of getting higher enrollment of students and retention of knowledge.

With advancement in technology, medical universities have started providing medical education resources in more conventional methods that help students to prepare and understand the concepts at much faster pace. Crucial medical course resources to students that can be accessed at any time, anywhere, and for free, will be beneficial to both the student and the faculty in the long run.

Five ways to provide medical education resources are:

Online: Having a dedicated website that has the entire classroom presentation online and that can be accessed easily by students from anywhere will help a ton of students when they are unable to attend lectures. University can provide a unique login to each student, with a dashboard that includes a list of classes, lecture presentations, results, running notes, query option, group presentation, an option to interact with other students.

Mobile website: Imaging the above site that is mobile friendly too; this will allow students to study on the go. A number of the student has part-time jobs, unwell, traveling or simply want to revise their notes and review the presentation again, at such times mobile friendly educational resources come in handy a lot.

Given the flexibility, students will be able to learn new skills at a faster pace and improve patient care.

Medical College Online Forums/Live Chat/Email: Students have to study at odd hours of the day and sometimes they have queries that arise as they learn more about the subject, hence having online forums, chats, or email option students need not bother faculty members with numerous appointments. They can browse through these forums to see if anyone had a similar doubt that has been clarified; similarly, chats and email allow students to approach the faculty at any given point in time.

Less number of credit hours: medical education in the USA requires medical students to spend at least 150 hours of learning over three years period. These requirements put a ton of pressure on students, however, if they reduce the timeframe and provide the information in the more condensed form, which has images, videos, and other form visual data will help grasp the idea at a faster rate.

Images, Videos, and Virtual Reality option: Imagine having the entire course in the form of virtual reality mode or at least the medical education resources. Visually appealing data capture the attention of the reader at a faster rate than any other type. Hence have images, videos or virtual reality data about the topics will help understand what exactly the subject is.
