For those of you who wish to live a blemish-free life, we have good news. You need not fill your medicine cabinets with expensive creams and medications. There are easy solutions that are effective and yield powerful results. Here you go.

1. Aloe Vera

Yes, that is correct. Fresh aloe vera is a great source of vitamins that help heal damaged skin. Don’t worry. This plant is gentle on the skin, so you need not freak out about skin irritations or other damages.
Also, aloe is a great skin moisturizer. When used regularly, it should leave your skin feeling soft, healthy, and rejuvenated.

Although you can purchase aloe vera gel in pharmacies and drug stores, fresh aloe vera is still your best option. To apply, simply break off a leaf. Get rid of the outer portion to expose the gel. And then, apply directly to your skin. To achieve best results, leave the gel for at least thirty minutes before you wash it off.

2. Coconut Oil

When do we talk about natural moisturizers that have healing properties, who could ever forget about coconut oil? Even a dab of it can already work wonders! So, why think twice about using it?

To use, scoop a teaspoon of extra virgin coconut oil and put into your palm. Let it melt. Using your fingertips, massage the melted oil into the affected part. Allow the skin to absorb the oil.

You need not rinse it off. The oil is rich in essential vitamins and minerals that can help improve the skin. But remember not to apply too much of it as it will leave your face feeling heavy.

3. Baking Soda

Do you have baking soda in the kitchen? Then, great! Here’s the thing. It’s not just a kitchen ingredient. It has a plethora of uses, which include healing acne scars.
Baking soda is made up of sodium bicarbonate crystals, which make it great for exfoliating the skin. Simply mix several teaspoons of baking soda with warm water, enough to create a thick paste. After which, massage into the part of the skin, which is affected by acne.
After application, leave it on for a minute. Doing so will allow the paste to cleanse the pores. Finally, wash it off with lukewarm water. To moisturize your skin, use coconut oil.

4. Honey

Another natural yet effective product you can use for acne scars is honey. Take note though. This is best used when raw. Do not use those that are found in the grocery aisles.

To use, all you have to do is to massage it over the scars and let it do its magic. If you are not comfortable with its thickness, add one teaspoon of ground cinnamon for every two tablespoons of raw honey.

5. Cucumber

Cucumbers are widely used for facial regimens. But this veggie is more than that. It has hydrating properties, as well as vitamins A and C, which are all great for the skin.

To use cucumber to treat acne, simply cut it into thin slices and place them over the scarred part. After thirty minutes, throw the cucumber slices and wash off your face with cool water. Repeat this every day as needed.
You see, acne treatment should not be costly. Try these solutions now!
