Elissa Heyman Edit
First job as a psychic: Psychic for Bob Dylan's Rolling Thunder Review, 1976. Second job: tarot reader at The Bottom of the Cup Tea Room, Royal Street, New Orleans, 1976, arranged for me by the late Reverend James, an exceptional healer. Third: Full-time professional psychic counseling and healing practice based in San Francisco, California, 1979. I'm still on my third job, and now it's based in Santa Fe, New Mexico. I write a monthly online psychic newsletter with predictions, and I'm impressed myself with its accuracy about national and global events. My clients love it because it also has individual psychic messages for the astrological signs and elements. It's available on many websites including my own, www.elissaheyman.com. I work in person and over the phone, with about 20 per cent of my business out of the country, in Italy, Belgium, and England. Before I did psychic work professionally, I worked in a county mental health clinic for six years, and started a peer counseling program for the University of California at Santa Barbara. I also trained for six years with the chief psychiatrist at Cottage Hospital in Santa Barbara.
My main metaphysical training was a twenty year apprenticeship with trance medium Eric Teissedre, originally from Santa Barbara. He is also a brilliant astrologer , psychic, and inventor of divination systems. Going into trance, his spirit guides taught both private and public classes, teaching people how to read, do healing work, and channel. When I was ready, I took out an ad in Common Ground in the Bay Area, and given the time and the place, that was all I needed to be successful at what I wanted to do. I still love doing clairvoyant readings and healing work, and have unique divination tools from Peru, Brazil, and Europe. I've written a little about them on my website.
