Bruce Wilkinson is the author of more than 60 books and a world-famous spiritual leader and speaker. His work, The Prayer of Jabez, has been named “the fastest-selling book of all time” by Publishers Weekly. Through the story of a little-known Biblical hero named Jabez, Dr. Wilkinson shows how one daily prayer can help you break through to the life you were meant to live. Dr. Wilkinson graduated from Northeastern Bible College and Dallas Theological Seminary and was awarded a doctorate of divinity by Western Conservative Baptist Seminary. In 1972, he devised a unique method for teaching the big picture of the content of Scripture book by book. Four years later, he founded Walk Thru the Bible Ministries, which is now the largest Christian seminar organization in the United States.

Bruce Wilkinson’s international bestseller, The Prayer of Jabez: Breaking Through to the Blessed Life, is clearly the place to get started. The book’s main character is named Jabez, a man from the Bible who is virtually unknown. In Chronicles 1, Chapter 4:
Jabez called on the God of Israel saying, “Oh, that You would bless me indeed, and enlarge my territory, that Your hand would be with me, and that You would keep me from evil, that I may not cause pain.” So God granted him what he requested.
