This bootcamp is designed to help you gain insight into who you are, and help you determine the best approach to improve your life.
Today, we are going to cover an equally important area, the importance of Taking Action.
Action, or better yet Taking Action is critical for a successful life.
Dr. Phil on his TV show says that “Life Rewards Action.” That’s actually one of his life rules.
Tony Robbins frequently says that we should: “Take Massive Action.”
And One of my favorite quotes comes from Will Rogers, who used to say that “Even if you’re on the right track, you’ll get run over if you just sit there”. One thing that you’ll find out about me very quickly is that I love to use quotes to Motivate myself. I hope they motivate you as well.
But, there’s a big challenge with Taking Action, and probably all of the steps to success. Everybody knows you have to take action to get things done. That’s no secret. So we all know it, but most of us don’t do it.
We all know that we have to exercise regularly to stay in shape, but most of us don’t do it. I want to share with you an unbelievable number. Federal statistics say about 60 percent of American adults are not regularly active, and about 25 percent are not active at all. They don’t do anything at all.
Think about it. We all know that if we read more, we’ll learn more, but we don’t do it. We know that we need to take action, but we’re not doing it. Why not?
Here is another quote that I use for personal motivation. It’s from Dale Carnegie. He said that: “The man who goes farthest is generally the one who is willing to do and dare. The sure-thing boat never gets far from shore.”
Take Action!
