“That which leaves its place by itself, people are trying to get it out.”
- Param Pujya Dada Bhagwan, an Enlightened being

Here, Param Pujya Dadashri recommends a positive way to release the negative energy
He suggests: What does positive mean? You do not have to take out anything; you do not have to remove anything, you only have to bring in. Say for instance, we have this drum full of oil and if someone says he wants to empty this oil; then we ask him what he wants to fill inside? He says, ‘I want to fill it with water.’ So we tell him, then start pouring water in this; oil will vacate by itself. Likewise, if you want to fill this drum with wheat or anything else, then start pouring that in and all oil will come out of its own.

Generally you empty first and later fill in, but rather, start pouring in so all that’s in will come out automatically. It is seen as, ‘This is wheat and this is water’, all due to intellect’s play. But the solution over here is that when you add the positive, then the negative will leave its place and come out naturally.

How do we pour in the positive?
Param Pujya Dadashri suggests:
Wash Off the Negative
Whenever negative energy arises, one generally happens to hurt someone, maybe in thoughts or even through words or actions. Each time we hurt someone, now we shall immediately make a heart-felt prayer to God, “Dear God! I hurt this person owing to the negative energy inside me. Please forgive me and grant me strength so that I do not hurt anyone ever again.”
This will help drain off the negativity energy that has arisen, in a positive way. We’ll continue this practice every-day.

Have a Strong Intent to Stay Positive
There is so much happiness in positivity and sheer unhappiness in negativity. So let’s maintain a strong intent to stay positive all the time. And so that this intent prevails all the time, every morning, with an earnest desire, we shall narrate this small prayer to God at least 5 times that, “May no living being be ever caused the slightest hurt through my thoughts, my words or my actions”; and then leave the rest to God. Now, that’s easy, isn’t it?! ☺
See Five Positives for Every Negative that Arises
Negative energy manifests in the form of negative thoughts. So, let’s make it a practice that whenever a negative thought hits our mind, we will instantly (as soon as we become aware of it) see at least five positives of the person or thing or a situation regarding which the negative thought has arisen.

When we fill 5 positives against 1 negative, just imagine the speed at which the negative energy will get empty!!
Always Speak Positive
While negative discussions lead to negative energy, positive discussions infuse positive energy in us. For instance, when we say, “My health is good”, then even if we are actually sick, we start feeling better from that very moment onwards. Such is the power of positivity! However, if we choose to say, “Oh, I am not feeling well,” we start feeling even worse. Try it! And whenever free, say aloud, ‘I am one with infinite energy!’ This energy is absolute ‘pure’ energy of the Self; yes our own Self, and we will come to that in a while.

Read Positive
There’s plenty that we can learn from the inspiring life-stories of the Enlightened Souls!
For example, Lord Rama, along with his entire family, was so happy when his coronation was to happen the next morning. And later, when his father, King Dashrath, owing to the vows he had given to Queen Kaikeyi, unwillingly gives him the orders, that instead of him, his younger brother shall be coronated to become the next King, and he i.e Lord Rama will have to leave for fourteen years of exile, not a single negative thought occurred in Lord Rama’s mind. Not even for a moment, he held Queen Kaikeyi or anyone else guilty of playing any kind of a secret plot against him; nor even for a second did the decision of his father depress him at all. He accepted his destiny with ample love and joy in his heart.

When you read such stories, it instills tremendous positivity inside you and you soon begin to ooze vibes of positivity and happiness around you.
Lord Rama could embrace this sudden change in circumstances with utmost love, without any kind of negative feeling or depression in mind, because he knew very well that this was his charted destiny, and hence he held no one else as guilty.

So when one has the right understanding and the real knowledge, negative energy does not arise at all. Such a person is always happy; no external circumstance can depress him ever.
The Right Understanding of really ‘who am I and who is the doer’ leads to a Permanent Solution
The right understanding of ‘who am I and who is the doer’ is easily gained through the science of Akram Vignan, a stepless path to Self-Realization.

When we attend the two-hour Self Realization Ceremony (Gnan-Vidhi) conducted by the Enlightened One (which is totally free of cost), we realize that, “I am a pure Soul and my nature is only to see and know.” During this ceremony, the Enlightened One, with his divine spiritual powers, puts in such a line of demarcation between the Self (the real ‘I’) and the non-Self (everything other than the Soul that we identified with) that our wrong belief that, ‘I have negative energy’ also drops. And remember, we just mentioned above, ‘I am one with infinite energy!’ This ‘I’ refers to the pure Soul, the real Self, which has infinite pure energy. So, after Self-Realization, the negative energy is released and the infinite pure energy of the Self is exposed – it's a double benefit!

Hence, try and attend this ceremony at your earliest convenience!

Author's Bio:

Ambalal M. Patel was a civil contractor by profession. In June 1958, spontaneous Self-Realization occurred within Ambalal M. Patel. From this point on, Ambalal became a Gnani Purush, and the Lord that manifest within him became known as Dada Bhagwan. A Gnani Purush is One who has realized the Self and is able help others do the same. Param Pujya Dada Bhagwan used to go from town to town and country-to-country to give satsang (spiritual discourse) and impart the knowledge of the Self, as well as knowledge of harmonious worldly interactions to everyone who came to meet him. This spiritual science, known as Akram Vignan, is the step-less path to Self-realization.
