The most important thing you want to have at the top of your sales page is a headline that grabs your ideal client’s attention right away. An attention-grabbing headline is vital to not only getting your ideal client’s attention but it is also the number one thing that keeps them on the page and reading your Soul-filled sales message. Let’s go into my 5 proven steps:
Step 1. When creating your Soul-filled, attention-grabbing headline, start by getting clear about who you are looking to attract to your sales page.
WHO is your ideal client…?
What are they looking for…?
What do they need...?
What do they want..?
Step 2. You are looking to create a headline that speaks directly to your ideal clients’ needs, so it’s important to know exactly who they are and what they need. When you know exactly who you are speaking to, you are able to speak with an understanding of who they are and communicate in a heartfelt way that you have the tools or service to support them.
As you sit down to craft your headline, my coach’s request is that you think about it as if you are speaking directly to one specific person. It is as though you are having a private conversation with your ideal client; it will just be received by many.
Step 3. Now once you know WHO you are “speaking to” it’s time to get clear about your intentions for this headline. Take time to consider both your intention for this headline and for the full sales page you are creating.
The EnergyRICH® philosophy is to look towards both your inner and outer intentions when creating Soul-filled selling copy. It is most important to consider inner and outer intentions when you are crafting your headline as it is the first place you begin to connect with your ideal client. Once you have your intentions in place, you then craft your headline using that same energy.

Setting EnergyRICH® intentions:
• To set your inner intention you want to identify what you want your ideal client to FEEL as they read the headline.
• To set your outer intention you want to identify what action you want them to take.
Step 4. Our human mind is trained to answer questions. Headlines that are written in the form of a question are extremely effective. When you use your headline to ask a question from the place of your inner and outer intentions, you will immediately create a connection with your ideal client.
Here are a few phrases to use for starting an attention-grabbing headline:
‘Are you…?’
‘Are you ready to…?’
‘Are you longing for…?’
‘Have you always wanted..?’
‘Would you just love it if…?’
‘Isn’t it time you discovered..?’
Step 5. Attention-grabbing headlines are usually centered, in bold font and much larger than the rest of the Soul-filled sales copy on your sales page. This allows your headline to stand out on the page, not only by the message you craft and energy you use to create it, but also from a visual perspective.
Here is an example:
