Beyond what anyone can imagine, the image of a sunset is simply profound! Wouldn’t you agree? Upon viewing a sunset, you may feel that you are suddenly changed by the pure light vibrations that cast their magical virtues into the atmosphere. It's not unusual for a sunset to capture your breath away! It will pique your curiosity as you try to identify with unknown forces that originate well beyond the scope of human intelligence. Clearly there are innumerable virtues that lie within the miracle formation that it is. The most telling virtues include a brilliancy of divine light, peace & tranquility, sacred energy, unconditional love, faith and an honesty of pure truth. These are just some of its natural qualities illuminated by the array of colors that our sun shares during this evening moment at sunset. A sunset is a true gift to the human spirit beyond the effervescent brilliance of its many subtle hues. Can you recall the last time you embraced an amazing sunset for yourself? It is your choice to do so. You can take the time to see and embrace the image of a sunset.
When you hold the image of the sunset in your mind’s eye, you can take it with you and feel the great possibility both from deep within and outside of your self. It has an extraordinary capacity to access your emotional/spiritual connection to yourself and your higher power. My hope is that you may find great peace and serenity in knowing this to be true for yourself. As you may feel the harmonious, exquisite beauty that surrounds your being, this connectedness is impossible to communicate through a description by just words. The words we use are only semantics that limit our ability to tell the story of what this inspiration is truly like. That unidentifiable something that soothes the spirit, soul and heart in ways like no other is nevertheless an inescapable truth. This reminds us all that truth is evident by nature.
The vast absorption you feel from the Sunset can transform your entire outlook on life, in ways that you may least expect. The beauty, vitality and hope that it offers are all in the eyes of the beholder. The effects it may have on you are individual to you, yet at the same time there is a universality of experience that we can all identify with. Oftentimes the mood that it casts upon its viewers is trancelike and hypnotic which can then facilitate a spiritual awakening. It holds momentous power that can take you into a space that shows you something revealing and new. A sparkle of insight shines into your Sparkling Soul and you can gently transcend that time and place. The remarkable value that this holds should not be taken for granted or overlooked; it is a spectacular gift of nature that we all must cherish. I couldn’t image the world without this. Can you?
The point of reflection creates such poignant awareness. This awareness is refreshing since each sunset conveys its own special charm. It is when the crisp colors are reflected back from a pond or lake that it can take on an even whole new level of experiential magnificence. When nature is compounded, the impact it has is immeasurable. You may feel this conviction as it comes with such deep stillness and a certainty that the universe is mysteriously benevolent.
Give yourself permission to be fully connected. It is the best way you can feel the enlightenment you seek during the sunset. It’s ok to let go of life’s distractions when you embrace the image of a Sunset! Ultimately we all will continue along our spiritual journeys, and it will be up to us to invite the sunsets into our lives… with gratitude.
