The United States has already slipped into such a deep recession that it could be the most serious since World War II, said Martin Feldstein, President of the Cambridge group, who is considered the official word on economic cycles.
If we continue with current trends what can we expect? Possibly gasoline at $5.00/gallon throughout the nation in 2008, major stock market losses, market volatility, credit crunch, home foreclosures nationwide in record numbers, large layoffs and bankruptcies at top U.S. Companies.
What are you doing when you watch the news??? Are you buying into the idea that we are in Recession?
It is said that "Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure." And the truth is we are!
We're definitely 100% responsible for what we decide to believe and 100% responsible for the choices we make consciously and unconsciously. You are so powerful, that if you say you can, you can, and if you say you cannot, you cannot. You are always right. So, you determine what recession means to you. Is it about disaster or opportunity?
Are you going to concentrate on the problem and thus attract more problems? Instead, you can choose to concentrate on the solution and you will be surprised at how much power you have to solve your own problems.
Asking the right questions offers the right answers, while asking the wrong questions, such as "Why me?" offers only wrong answers. Imagination, creativity, and TRUST in yourself are more important than knowledge. It's all up to you. Your mindset is THE KEY. Tell me what you think, and I will tell you who you are.
Have you ever noticed that there are many people who make money during times of recession? You can go a check by yourself, but during the Great Depression, huge fortunes were made by many. Many increased their fortune dramatically during those times. But it wasn't just the rich who got richer - many ordinary citizens found a way to not only survive, but thrive during a poor economy. For example, Donald Trump was interviewed on CNN last week and he said, "This is a great time to make money. There are a lot of opportunities out there. He mentioned he was worried (He couldn't help it), but he said, "IT'S A GREAT TIME TO MAKE MONEY. PAY ATTENTION TO WHAT'S OUT THERE."
This is the time to think and act differently, the time you need to trust that you can do it too. This is the time to do what you love. Allow your passion to be your guide. Follow your gut instinct instead of your intellect, because no matter how many university degrees or how much money you have, your intellect doesn't know anything. As a matter of fact, your intellect is the one "buying" the news.
We are always choosing! Most of the time we do so unconsciously, but we are ALWAYS choosing. We can choose to buy what is being sold to us, choose to see ourselves as victims, and think, "Poor us. Look at what they are doing to us," or choose to be conscious by taking 100% responsibility.
You know, what we call a problem is not actually the problem. The real problem is how we react to the problem. The beauty of realizing we are 100% responsible offers the possibility of making better choices. It's up to us to make things different by choosing differently. 100% responsibility gives us freedom. If you created it, you can change it.
So start creating your own reality, not the one you think you believe you should buy. Did you know you could put the NEWS business OUT OF BUSINESS? Yes, the news is a business. It's not a public service. They are in the business of making money. If you watch it and you believe it, they make money because you are choosing to buy the product they are selling! You are the media's customer. You can set yourself FREE right now by choosing a different "reality".
If you are okay, everything else will be okay. It is not the other way around. You tell yourself, "When the economy is better, then I will be happy. When we have a new President, then I will be happy. When the real estate market comes back, then I will be happy." Instead, learn to see the blessing behind every challenge. There is a gift for you hidden in the recession. The first step towards finding the hidden gift and changing any pain in your life is to be willing to just say "Thank you" to the recession and to any adversity in your life.
Saying "Thank you" is a way of letting go of what looks like a problem and allowing inspiration to come through with the perfect answer and solution for our "problem". Say "Thank you" without attachments or expectations. Say "Thank you" while being open and flexible. You never know what can develop as a result of saying "Thank you". Be ready for a miracle.
Saying "Thank you" is letting go of opinions and judgments. It is realizing we don't know anything. By saying "Thank you", we allow for a part of us that knows better, has the solutions to all our problems, to "inspire" us and bring us what is perfect and right at the ideal moment.
Wake up!! Exercise your FREE will, your FREE choice. Realize the power of your thoughts. You are the creator and you create through your thoughts. Your thoughts are like magnets. Ask yourself, "What am I attracting into my life right now?" and you will find out what you are thinking. Realize that your thoughts about the concept of Recession and how you've decided to relate to these very same thoughts are the reason why you're reacting in a certain way. This way of being is causing you an inner recession. This is the only Recession that actually exists. There is no out there! Only the thoughts you choose to believe exist.
This is YOUR TIME, the time to seize opportunities. These opportunities exist all around you, but you do not see them because you CHOOSE to pay attention to the NEWS. You've decided to buy BAD NEWS. You've given power to the news. You think the media knows better. You think it's helping you by keeping you informed, by feeding your fears. Such nice people serving your community! You never thought the news business was making money from your fears and doubts, but fortunately, you can help yourself out of fear and doubt right now.
This is the perfect time to start ANEW. Here is an opportunity for a new beginning, a chance to do something different. This is the time to be more open, flexible, more creative. It could be the time to create your own product, to start believing in yourself, your service, and become an entrepreneur. This is the time for small entrepreneurs to think BIG! You cannot afford to get distracted by THE NEWS. Too much to do, so little time.
When one door closes, it means another bigger and more important one will open. Allow your inspiration to open those doors and show you THE EASIEST WAY to attract whatever is right and perfect for you.
Life is an inside job. If you don't like the high gas prices, the real estate market, the President, and/or the Recession, don't wait on others! It's time for YOU to take 100% responsibility and say, "I am sorry. Please forgive me for whatever is in me that has created this." Start working on yourself right now. Peace begins with YOU!
