Recently the company felicitated Indian hockey team with a cash incentive of Rs. 1.12 Crore for their brilliant performance in FIH Olympic qualifiers. By qualifying the FIH Olympics, the team has taken entrance in the London Olympics 2012 after having missed the Beijing games four year. The incentive of Rs. 1.12 Crore provided by Sahara India Pariwar will be distributed amongst the players and support staff of India Hockey Team.
Sahara India Pariwar awarded Rs. 11 lakhs each to Shri Sardar Singh and Shri Sandeep Singh for their outstanding performance in the match. The rest of the ream is awarded with Rs. 5 lakhs each for their performance. The support staff is awarded with Rs. 1 lakh each. The Sahara India Pariwar has recently renewed its sponsorship deal with Indian hockey team for a period of next five year at a 170 per cent increase over the past contract span of time.
