Can a Grade 10 Candidate Apply for GIIS’ Global FUTURE-READY Merit Scholarship?
This scholarship is designed to provide holistic development. Students from grade 6 to 12 can apply for this scholarship. Hence, yes, a student from grade 10 can apply for this scholarship. Students studying in different schools in Ahmedabad can also apply for the scholarship, but they will have to shift to GIIS.
The structure and eligibility criteria for students from grades 9th and 10th are given below.
The scholarship is divided into three categories for the students from grade 9 and 10-
∙ Category A: Students from CBSE / ICSE / State Boards / Other Boards with a score of 97.01% and above or students from IGCSE / GCSE "0" Levels with A* in all 9 subjects can avail up to 9% off on their tuition fees.
∙ Category B: Students from CBSE / ICSE / State Boards / Other Boards with a score between 95.01% and 97% or students from IGCSE / GCSE "0" Levels with A* in all 8 subjects can avail up to 6% off on their tuition fees.
∙ Category C: Students from CBSE / ICSE / State Boards / Other Boards with a score between 93.01% and 95% or students from IGCSE / GCSE "0" Levels with A* in all 7 subjects can avail up to 3% off on their tuition fees.
This scholarship is available for a tenure of 2 years. The framework of the scholarship will help the students in getting an edge over their competitors.
There are two criteria for eligibility:
1. The candidate must be a resident of the city.
2. The student should have a satisfactory academic performance for the past two years.
