What you need:
2 kilograms chicken wings, tips discarded and sliced into two at the joint
3 onions, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup dark maple syrup
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/3 cup teriyaki sauce
1/3 cup reduced sodium soy sauce
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
Dash of cayenne pepper
Cilantro for garnishing
Mix together onions, garlic, maple syrup, brown sugar, soy sauce, ground black pepper and cayenne pepper in a bowl. Pour mixture in a large sealable plastic bag then add chicken wings to the bag. Combine brown sugar, peanut butter, water, cider vinegar, soy sauce, chilli paste, sesame oil and garlic in a bowl. Set aside. Toss the wings in vegetable oil and hot sauce then cook on a pre-heated grill over medium high heat until cooked through. Allow to cool for a few minutes. When ready, place grilled chicken in a bowl and pour half of the peanut sauce over chicken. Toss to coat wings with the mixture evenly.
