Rewind people are the type of people that love reliving their past memories. There is nothing wrong with remembering where you came from. However, what is wrong is dwelling on it too much.
There are married people who keep reliving their bachelor/bachelorette days. In fact, they still act as if they're single despite having committed to their spouse for life. So, do you think you're one of them? If you answer yes, then you're probably headed toward a lot of trouble, especially in the marital department.
What most people don't get, is that married life means dealing with the present and preparing for the future. The 'past' part would likely play a very small role in your relationship. Your yesterday, along with your partner's yesterday, doesn't matter anymore. However, this only applies if both of you are really committed to creating a new life that involves the two of you as a married couple.

"Like threading a needle with gloves on is the pleasing of one's wife." No matter what a man thinks, he can't possibly solve his partner's problems. And how long does he try for? Not long if he's wise.
This is a fact of life, men. Women don't want us to solve their problems, especially in this day and age. Long gone is the dream that a man's woman will have him be the knight in shining armour. It's a romantic thought that survives just long enough to see the spritely little flame flicker and then be snuffed out.
When you least try to, you'll actually help her. When you've tried everything and given up in defeat and frustration, you're then ready to try the new technique of the 'you don't know what I want' game: humble subjection.
What if your spouse already left you? Here's how to get them back.
This is a fun game any husband or male partner can play -- but it takes two to play so make sure you're partner is around. Try being led around the mulberry bush fifteen times and then you're going to succeed, and, you won't even know why! That's the point. A man has only himself to blame.
Learn the lesson and learn it well. Don't become a victim before your time allotted comes to an end. Keep quiet when she's got a problem. Understand, nod, smile with reassurance, and don't whatever you do, don't, I repeat, don't, think you know what's going on, because, like every other male partner on the planet, you don't. Simply listen.

You've heard many times that in order for a romantic relationship or even marriage to work, it takes more than just pure love. Yes, you started out with love but it doesn't have to focus on that aspect all the time. Love is considered the foundation of a good marriage but there are other factors to consider as well.
Today amidst the rising cases of divorce, many couples in particular the wives are finding ways to nurture their marriage to make it last. But again, there's no magic formula to keep your bond strong because what may work for one couple may not work for another. However if you combine certain techniques, you might just find that they work for you.
The art of listening. Many spouses ignore this important aspect. Oftentimes, people are so quick to voice out their emotions when they're upset or when they found out their partner did something wrong. It's so natural for some to judge his other half right away or make assumptions. But ask yourself if you've also listened to what your spouse has to say. Have you stopped for a moment and listen deeply to get to the bottom of the issue?
When you know how to talk, you also have to learn to listen. This is vital in achieving effective communication. Being able to listen will let you develop compassion and empathy towards your partner. It will help you better understand your spouse. Listening is a way of getting to know more about your other half and it is very important in any discussion that takes place whether you're talking about problems or just sharing thoughts and views.
What if your spouse don't love you anymore? Here's how to get them addicted to you like when you fell in love for the first time
Laughter is still the best medicine. When was the last time you laughed out loud together with your partner? If your answer is a long time ago or you don't remember, then it's time you engage in activities that can make you laugh again. Laughing is such a great stress reliever so even when you're just at home, there are things you can do to give you a good laugh. Watch a comedy show or go see a funny movie together. Or when you have extra time to talk about the past, share your funny moments as a child or teenager.
You'll find that after a good laugh, you are energized and are not prone to getting upset. Don't be too serious in life. It's okay to have problems but what matters is you know how to handle them and you can find ways to laugh at your experiences.
It's in the eyes. Many couples sometimes don't see eye to eye, literally speaking. But did you know that connecting with your eyes is one way of establishing a positive bond? It may be a very simple act but it has a healing effect. Try looking into each other's eyes for a few minutes without exchanging words and you'll find out the effect. You might even discover for the first time how beautiful are the eyes of your partner or the kind of glow that they emit to you.
Practice these three steps and who knows, you might just become more in love with your partner as you journey through life.

Why is a spouse obligated to stay married to an unforgiving person? Why is a spouse obligated to stay married to someone who flirts? Why is a spouse obligated to stay married to someone who gambles, does, drugs, or looks at porn? Why is a spouse obligated to stay married to someone who says they don't love them anymore?
Why are you obligated to stay married to an adulterer? If we answer this question out of "love feelings" then it would seem ridiculous to be obligated to stay married under these circumstances. But when you answer this question under the principle of the "commitment to love" it changes the equation drastically, doesn't it. God did not design marriage for you to base your actions on feelings. God designed marriage for you "to love" even when you don't "feel" like it.
You are obligated to stay married to an adulterer because marriage is for better or worse. Maybe the "worse" part is when your spouse falls away from God and commits adultery, but you are still married. Marriage does not end because times are rough and your spouse is enslaved within sinful lust. Marriage does not end just because you don't think you are in love anymore. Marriage does not end just because you say so.
God instituted marriage as a lifetime commitment. And it has been that way from the beginning. We become one flesh when we enter into the sacred institution of marriage. We are joined into wedlock until one spouse dies. Only God can end marriages through death.
For example, by law a married woman is bound to her husband as long as he is alive, but if her husband dies, she is released from the law of marriage. So then if she marries another man while her husband is still alive, she is called an adulteress. (Romans 7:2)

Man cannot separate what God has joined. So they are no longer two, but one. Therefore what God has joined together, let man not separate. (Matthew 19:6).
Man cannot separate what God has joined? This is difficult to believe!
When the apostles heard Christ's word on marriage, they said, "then it is better not to marry" (Matthew 19:10). I don't think the apostles would have said that, if Jesus' teaching had all the modern-day escape clauses. In reality, there is no escape from marriage, just as there is no escape from Christ.
The only way someone would not understand "why" they are obligated to stay married to an adulterer is if they think they don't sin, and therefore do not need forgiveness. This is why Christ said, "if any of you is without sin, let him be first to throw a stone at her." John 8:7) Everyone dropped their stones and went home.
Did you know that if you do not forgive the adulterer, Christ will not forgive you your sins? Does this mean unforgiveness is a sin? I think it does. It means that having an unforgiving heart is a "hardened heart." If the adulterer has stopped in their sin and is willing to work on the marriage, then it is your duty to allow that to happen through forgiveness.
Forgiveness is an act of love and self-sacrifice - it is the commitment to love.
What if your spouse already left you? Here's how to get them back.
For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. (Matthew 6:14)
But what should a married person do when the adulterer continues in the affair or keeps cheating over and over again?
The spouse of an adulterer is obligated to stay married to an adulterer. But if the unbeliever continues in their sinful ways, what can you do but let them go. The only alternative would be for the believer to deny their own faith to preserve the marriage, which in many instances would be worse than letting the unbeliever go.
But if the unbeliever leaves, let him do so. A believing man or woman is not bound in such circumstances; God has called us to live in peace. (1 Corinthians 7:15)
The above verse is not a loophole for divorce. In fact, it says nothing about divorce. It states, "If the unbeliever leaves, let him do so." It does not say, "If the unbeliever wants a divorce, give it to him." No, it does not say that. Divorce may be legal with the state, but in God's eyes, even if you divorce, you are still married, unless husband or wife dies. Period!
