History

Types of Other teas

There’re different types of green teas in form and rank. Now simple and common form with tea is ‘Senchu’- Infused tea. Its leaves are green as they are not roasted or fermented. These leaves are also harvested from April-June. To avoid fermentation they’re steamed away then rolled & dried. These leaves put through sieve.

It is boiled and cooled to about 50 to 60 degree Celsius. If water is very hot then it can ruin the taste and color. This is very expensive than others. Bancha, Bubu-zuke and Houhicha are other types.
