Drive Alive is the first mobile app that attempts to solve the problem of how do we get people to stop texting while driving in a new and unique way. There are coutnless efforts being done to stop texting while driving. They range from other mobile apps to laws to graphic videos and statistics to scare people into stopping. All these efforts share one thing in common they are all punishments, discouragement, and scare tatics aimed towards people who already text and drive. Drive Alive 's new approach is to find the people who already don't text while driving and reward them. Before Drive Alive there was no way for these safe driver's to prove that they were paying more attention to the road than to their phones.

Our app monitors cell phone activity while a user is driving and can determine whether or not a user was doing anything on their cell phone while driving using our patent pending technology designed by myself. That information gets stored in a database of proven safe drivers. We then plan to trade the information stored in those databases for rewards for those already practicing safe driving habits. We plan to get them rewards like car insurance discounts, EZ pass credits, and more.

We hope that this approach inspires more people to drive safely and become eligible for these rewards and as a result helps to keep our roadways safe, allow drivers to keep more of their personal finances for themselves, and keep our economy rolling because people will have more money to spend on local business's and such.
