During our formative years, if we are fortunate, we experience the Love and reassurance of a solid familial structure. Unfortunately, this is not the case for everyone. Circumstances of Life often lead us down very dark, tumultuous paths, that are extremely difficult to transcend.
At the age of 15, I was forced out of my childhood home, due to inreconcilable differences with my father, which forced me into adulthood, prematurely. Needless to say, this was not healthy for the psyche, however, I was not in a position to consider it, I had to live it.
I am fortunate enough to have my good health, having been successful in Life, in my own right, having traveled the world, met some of the most amazing people a person could hope for and never having run up against the law.
Writing has always been a get away for me, sort of like my best friend. Writing allows me to escape the world that has often seemed so dark to me. As I grew older, I learned to cultivate my writing and to allow Life experiences to be the outline of my career. Three months ago, I followed through with my Life-long dream of publishing a memoir. It amazes me to this very day that I have followed through with such a tedious project. The journey has just begun.
As I venture up this road, I am fortunate enough to learn more and more in regard to my own shortcomings, my spirit, mentality, desires and more importantly, where my faith stands. It is my desire to touch the lives of others in a way that they can escape negativity and live vertically. This is what I call, Life, so Live it.......
