My name is Suzy Brown and my area of expertise is Midlife Divorce Recovery. I had been married for 33 years when suddenly in 2000, I was faced with a midlife divorce. I was devastated on so many levels I can't even describe them all. I started a group called R.A.D.I.C.A.L. Women ... (women who are (R)ising (A)bove (D)ivorce (I)n (C)onfidence (A)nd (L)ove. From what we learned during those meetings, I wrote a book entitled Radical Recovery - Transforming the Despair of Your Divorce Into an Unexpected Good, published by Leafwood Publishers. I also wrote a companion workbook for individual or group study. I facilitate day- long Midlife Divorce Recovery Boot Camps around the country, speak at international conferences on divorce recovery and help church and community groups set up programs to help those going through the storm of divorce. I also host three websites: My main site is www.midlifedivorcerecovery.com

"First Survive ... Then try to get through this ordeal without killing anybody!"
"In the beginning, being strong was getting to the grocery store and back without crying. Later, it meant realizing I could become my very own version of Wonder Woman. You can do that, too."
"Being self-sufficient is over-rated. Find someone you can call at three o'clock in the morning, and you know they'll pick up the phone."
"Try this test. See how much fun it is or good it does to focus on how miserable you are. If the answer is 'none,' try something else."
"With God, we have the power to be victorious, no matter what, because we already know how the story ends, and we always have the choice to love."
"God says, 'try my radical way of living this adventure, and I promise that you will discover truths that will revolutionize absolutely everything. Your life in me will be beyond your wildest dreams."
